Wordpress for iPhone

Well well; could this be the solution to my veritable drought of posting on this website of mine?

The tedium of creating posts through an ordinary web browser ultimately got the best of me. Lately, however, I’ve been posting more on Twitter, a result of two things: first, a short attention span which drew me to the microblogging concept; and second, the fact that with the new iPhone/iPod touch 2.0 software update, a new twitter post is never more than arm’s length away.

Today I found out (through a dedicated iPhone app RSS feed — I’m a big geek) that there’s a new Wordpress app available, and I’m typing this entry out on it right now. It feels great to have all this stuff right in my pocket, knowing that as long as I’m in a wi-fi hotspot, I can publish a thought or an idea. It just makes the thought of an always-connected iPhone that much more alluring.

If anyone is wondering, the touch keyboard is a dream to type on once you get used to it.

Hopefully we’ll be seeing some more activity ‘round these parts again.

OEC’s New Digs.

The brand-new website for The Offshore Electric Company has gone live, and it’s looking good! Updates are done through Twitter, which I felt was an appropriate choice for the minimalist design of the site.

You may notice that there is only one page in the entire site; that’s what I was going for here. Everything you need to know about us is right in front of you. Big thanks to Mark Altosaar for the photo; that was a fun photoshoot.
